Christina Ejercito is an emerging self-taught artist based in Wels, Austria. With a background in Healthcare, although quite far from the norm, this fueled more the self-guided exploration and introspection of the artist as she observed the day-to-day

existential difficulties and the meaning of suffering of her clients. Her work focuses on the emotional texture of existential crisis, fractured identity, trauma, absurdism and nihilism.

They have recently begun to explore sculptural surfaces and mixed media portraiture.

She started painting November of 2024 and enjoys expressing the fractions of the self that cannot be expressed through words.

Inspiration: Van Gogh, Albertu Camus, Franz Kafka, Sylvia Plath, Viktor Frankl and Osamu Dazai.
